Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is the grave site of Sakakawea who was a guide for Lewis and Clark. The 2nd "k" was changed to a "j" by some geographer and all history books take that changed name as the gospel. I think this is the correct spelling based on Native American folklore. It is in South Dakota over looking the Missouri River on the west side across from Mobridge and is located beside the grave of Chief Sitting Bull.
