Summary[edit]

Description

The San Mateo Bridge (left) and the San Mateo County Fishing Pier, in Foster City, California.

The fishing pier is actually the old San Mateo/Hayward bridge, built in 1929 and retired in 1967. It's been closed for a couple years, pending restoration for safety and security concerns. Or demolition -- it's starting to look a little rough.
