Description
English: In the morning of 2016-07-16, tree maintenance was being performed along the Südfriedhof-Madlow section, which meant trams had to turn around at Sportzentrum, transfer the passengers to a rail replacement bus and wait for its return. This marked one of the rare occasions of scheduled service here, if only for a couple of hours. The loop has been mostly out of use since 2001 when line 4E (Neu Schmellwitz <-> Sportzentrum) was discontinued, with a brief exception during 2010 (modernization of the loop at Madlow).

A road-rail vehicle pruning the trees can be seen in the distance. The southbound track to Madlow is protected by a temporary Sh 2 ("Stop, track is closed!") sign.
