Summary[edit]

Description Gedenkstein für General Friedrich von Gagern, einen seiner Grenadiere und zehn Revolutionäre, die alle im Gefecht auf der Scheideck bei Kandern am 20. April 1848 getötet wurden. Der Gedenkstein wurde 2023 zum 175-jährigen Jubiläum vom Schwarzwaldverein restauriert und neu arrangiert. Auf dem neuen Gedenkstein wurde auch der Name "A. Sulzer" durch den richtigen Namen "A. Sulger" ersetzt. Albert Sulger war ein junger Maler aus Konstanz, der im Gefecht auf der Scheideck schwer verletzt wurde und am 21. April 1848 im Spital von Kandern an den Verletzungen starb.
