Description
English: Scottish Norwegian Connection Stone in Dumfries commemorating the connection between Dumfries and Norwegians during the Second World War. A close up view showing the words on the plaque which states "In gratitude to the people of Dumfries and Galloway for the outstanding hospitality, friendship and hope, shown to the Norwegian men and women during WWII. Here they found a home during long years of exile". The smaller plaque states "This stone is presented by Scottish Norwegian Connection August 2020".
