Transcribed from postcard: "The Times has a larger net paid city circulation than Seattle's other two newspapers combined. In August The Times carried 65,182 inches, or 912,548 lines, of paid advertising under a strictly maintained rate card, and closely watched credits. This beats the Post-Intelligencer by 18,572 inches, or 260,008 lines."
