| Description |
English: Second World War lookout above Worbarrow Bay, Isle of Purbeck. This concrete lookout post is perched on the outer rampart of the Flower's Barrow hillfort overlooking Worbarrow Bay. The cliffs below are slipping into the bay, and the small building will one day go the same way. In the distance is the promontory called Worbarrow Tout, which was also once a lookout post if its given name is an accurate indicator (Wor-barrow means lookout hill, Tout also means lookout). |
