Description
Italiano: Segnale stradale italiano: cartello designazione di comune. La parte superiore del cartello riporta le sigle del PNF (Partito Nazionale Fascista) e del RACI (Reale Automobile Club d'Italia) oltre che il nome e il numero della strada; nella parte inferiore del segnale è indicato lo sponsor del cartello (nell'esempio la Shell). Le parti centrali riportano il nome della località e alcune norme di comportamento. Modello introdotto dal Real Automobile Club d'Italia verso la fine degli anni '20 del 1900 e usate fino agli inizi degli anni '30.
English: Italian road sign: town name. The upper part of the sign bears the acronyms of the National Fascist Party (Partito Nazionale Fascista - PNF) and of Royal Automobile Club of Italy (RACI), the number and the name of the highway; the lower part of the sign bears the name of the sponsor. In the center of the signs are the name of the city and some traffic rules (reduce speed, closed exhaust, keep right). Introduced at the end of 1920s and used unitl the begin of 1930s.
