| Description |
English: A radial thin section of the Sequoioxylon montanense holotype wood. "Fig. 22.- Radial section. The distortion makes it difficult to get any clear- cut radial view, but this figure brings out the heavily pitted tracheids . On the most prominent one of them, near the center, lie. three rows of small pits . In the upper left-hand corner a bit of a ray is visible with the lateral tracheidfields marked with oval oöpores."
