Description
Srpski (latinica): Rasprostranjena je u severu Evroazijskog kontinenta od Skandinavskog poluostrva na zapadu do poluostrva Kamčatka na istoku.Tokom zime se pomera u južnije krajeve, i tada se u Evropi pojavljuje u različitim ravničarskim i planinskim staništima, uključujući naselja. Naseljava brezove, mešovite i otvorene četinarske šume u pojasu tajgi. Gnezda gradi u krošnjama drveća, najčešće na brezi. Hrani se pretežno semenjem biljaka, a tokom leta insektima i njihovim larvama. Evropska populacija je stabilna. U Srbiji je redovna i brojna zimovalica (BioRaS).
