| Description |
English: Flag proposal for the Shabak people, a Kurdish-speaking ethno-religious group of northern Iraq. Their traditional settlement area north of Mosul is called Shabakistan/Şabakistan but is actually not a political entity. This flag contains the lion, which was together with the sun Ismail's I emblem. Ismail I is regarded as a prophet by the Shabaks. The blue background colour includes one main colour of the File:Shabak Flag.jpg to create a difference to pan-Kurdish flags. |
