Description

10 December 2015 – Washington, DC – The United States Department of Labor (USDOL) hosts the “Future of Work” symposium focusing on the how work will be defined in the 21st Century. Panel discussions will touch on topics from women in the work force, worker health and safety, new digital jobs in emerging platforms, skills training and workforce development, international connections, and workers voices in the new workforce. DOL's Sharon Block leads the panel discussion "Shared Prosperity in the Future of Work: Emerging Trends and High Points in Creating Prosperity for Workers, Businesses and the Economy" with panelists Heather Boushey, Washington Center for Equitable Growth; Andrew Kassoy, B Corps; Jerry King, Chrysler employee and UAW member; Brendan Martin, The Working World and Dan Teran, Managed by Q.
