Summary[edit]

Description
English: Close-up of shattered safety glass in the window (windshield) of a train carriage (railway tram), where light and reflections on the fragmented pieces and cracks create visual effects of abstract patterns and structures. When laminated glass is subjected to a strong impact, such as a collision or a heavy blow, it will shatter, but the pieces will stay held together due to the PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayer. Photo taken in Norway in 2019.
