Description
English: Hubli is known for its beautiful temples, gardens, and historical sites. Aihole, in Hubli, is a historic site in Karnataka that dates back to the 6th–12th centuries, with many Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain monuments still standing. Aihole is known as the "cradle of Indian architecture" because of its many temples and is also known as the birthplace of the Hindu rock arc.
