Summary[edit]

Description The Long Corridor at the Beijing Summer Palace, 20 April 2009. The Long Corridor (Chang Lang) was built in 1750, burned down by an Anglo-French force in 1860 and rebuilt in 1866. The corridor starts at Inviting the Moon Gate and ends with the Stone Old Man Pavilion (石丈亭, pictured). In the centre is the Hall of Dispelling Clouds with two intermediate pavilions each side - Mesmerising Scenery, Harmonizing with the Lake, Autumn Water and Clear and Carefree.
