| Description |
English: Shoeburyness East Beach looking south-west. Taken from the same viewpoint as 1740740, but looking the other way. The students here were waiting for the tide to go out before seeing what was in the mud. Meanwhile the purplish blobs visible in the sea are hundreds of jellyfish (Cyanea lamarckii), most of which were moribund. The right background shows the promenade and the access points onto the beach. In the middle background, the paddling pool is just emerging. |
