English: Shore of Loch Sligachan Westerly winds can whistle down this loch from the Cuillin Hills, whipping the water up in small tornadoes. Today - all was very calm. The A87 from Sligachan to Sconser follows close to the loch shore. The prominent peak on the horizon is Dùn Caan on the Isle of Raasay in grid square NG5739. |
