| Description |
English: Shoreline and defences Large houses built along the Gogarth shore sit atop a cliff of boulder clay and loose limestone blocks from the slope of the Great Orme. Fresh scars from minor landslides sit above modern rock-armour - testifying to the insidious erosion of this desirable but fragile location. The layered Carboniferous Limestone of the Great Orme rises steeply in the background, with the Marine Drive making a straight line across the grassed slope. |
