| Description |
English: Shunting at Horbury. Viewed from Quarry Hill, a class 08 shunts wagons from the nearby Healey Mills Yard. The guard appears to be replacing the red tail light with a white one in preparation for the train reversing back into the yard. Sadly, the fine industrial building next to the line has been demolished since this photo was taken. In the distance the tracks curve under the Addingford Lane bridge. The junction with tracks bearing right has been lifted, removing the connection with the Barnsley line. |
