Étang de Montfort


Nul besoin d’être accablé ou de se trouver à proximité de la mer, ou d’un lac pour expérimenter les vertus bénéfiques de l’eau lorsqu’elle modèle harmonieusement le paysage. Peu de lieux sont aussi propices à la méditation et au recueillement que les berges d’un étang, si minuscule soit-il. Surpris, le promeneur qui s’attarde se sent poussé à l’introspection tant le parfait miroir des eaux immobiles lui renvoie, tel un écho, ses pensées les plus profondes. La rêverie dans un tel lieu offre souvent à celui qui s’y prête une saisissante lucidité qui éclaire son cheminement intérieur et le mène vers de nouveaux itinéraires jusqu’ici dissimulés sous les sédiments de l’habitude et de la résignation.
