Description A sign forbidding drug use in the Vallila library in Vallila, Helsinki, Finland. The sign says: "Huumaavien aineiden käyttö kirjastossa on kiellettyä! Samoin niiden ostaminen ja myyminen jo lainkin mukaan. Kirjaston asiakkaat ja henkilökunta kokevat käyttämisen ja myymisen pelottavana ja ahdistavana, kuten myös selkeästi päihtyneenä kirjastossa oleskelun. Pyydän päihteiden käyttäjiltä huomaavaisuutta. Pidetään kirjasto turvallisena ja miellyttävänä paikkana kaikille. Hans Swan, kirjastonhoitaja, Vallilan kirjasto". In English: "The use of intoxicating substances in the library is forbidden! Also buying and selling such substances is forbidden according to the law. The customers and the staff of the library feel the use and sale of intoxicants as frightening and distressing, as well as being visibily intoxicated in the library. I ask for courtesy from the users of intoxicants. Let's keep the library as a safe and pleasant space for everyone. Hans Swan, director of the Vallila library".
