| Description |
English: Site of Bolingbroke Castle and Rout Yard, Old Bolingbroke Top end of the site and the fenced-off area that is excluded from the sheep that graze here. They are kept from the moat that contains crested newts and other wildlife. Excavators have been brought in to widen the moat and will start at the 'dry-end'. I guessed that, when it has been dug out, the wet area can be drained into it and retain the creatures that live there. |
