Summary[edit]
DescriptionSite of Merstone Station, Isle of Wight (geograph 6645681).jpg |
English: Site of Merstone Station, Isle of Wight The site of Merstone railway station on the Isle of Wight. The station closed in 1956, but the platform is still present. The small shelter has the appearance of being a relic of the railway but it is a recent addition to the scene. The path to the right forms part of the route of the Red Squirrel Trail and National Cycle Network route 23. |
