English: Old photo posted in response to a discussion on Harringay Online community website, called: One law for us, another for them.
The discussion was started by John Douglas on 23 July 2012. He took a photo and posted a comment about a so-called "Smart Car" used by contractors working for Haringey Council. They'd parked on a corner. In Stoneleigh Road in 2007 the Parking enforcement "Smart Car" was not parked dangerously. But there was no reason whatever the car was parked on double yellow lines when - quite clearly - there was an empty parking bay available. For non-UK residents reading this page, the double yellow lines painted on the road mean: No Parking at any time. Our elected elected local councils and their staff are not above the law.
