| Description |
English: Memorial of Red Guards members in Finland executed in Finnish Civil War 1918, Malmi cemetery, Helsinki, Finland. - Memorial was designed by finnish sculptor Aarre Aaltonen (1889-1980) and unveiled in the 1940s. To the right of it is gravestone for unknown Red guards members executed and buried in a mass grave in northern Helsinki woods. Their remains were transferred from there and buried here in 1971.
Suomi: Sodassa 1918 telotettujen punaisten muistomerkki, Malmin hautausmaa, Helsinki, Suomi. - Muistomerkin suunnitteli kuvanveistäjä Aarre Aaltonen (1889-1980) ja se paljastettiin 1940-luvulla. Siitä oikealle on tuntemattomien Suutarilan Puustellimetsässä teloitettujen ja sinne joukkohautaan haudattujen punaisten hautakivi. Teloitettujen jäänteet siirrettiin joukkohaudasta ja haudattiin tähän 1971. |
