Summary[edit]

Description

Solhaug skole i Åsen. Bygd 1943-45 som "Soldatenheim Lofjord", et velferdsbygg for tyske offiserer. Etter krigen ble bygningen overtatt av Åsen kommune, og i tatt i bruk som skole for Skjesol skolekrets i 1948. Bildet er tatt før en omfattende ombygging fram mot 1952, da buegangen til høyre ble kledd inn, flere vinduer ble skiftet og kobbhusene på taket ble erstattet av et større takopplett.
