| Description |
Español: Sombra, escultura de Suso de Marcos (1950-) en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Málaga, Málaga, España. La obra forma conjunto con Tormenta, también de Suso de Marcos. Ambas obras fueron donadas por el escultor en el año 1995 y su ubicación fue decidida conjuntamente entre el propio escultor y el arquitecto del edificio, Salvador Moreno Peralta. Se encuentran ubicadas conjunta y armónicamente a modo de instalación. Tormenta, del año 1982 y realizada en madera de olivo, metal y vidrio en su variante de cristal-espejo, evoca la metáfora visual del fenómeno atmosférico de una tormenta. Sombra, del año 1994 y ejecutada sobre la base de un viejo tronco seco de plátano oriental encontrado en un cortijo de los Montes de Málaga, pretende simbolizar el ciclo vital, según definición del autor. El tronco se sitúa sobre un montículo en una zona rehundida existente junto a la rampa de acceso a la cafetería de la facultad. |
