January 3, 2023. There was limited visibility from Mather Point on what was a very snowy Tuesday morning. During the month of January, 2023, the South Rim of the park received a total of 64 inches (157 cm) and that's an additional 50 inches (127 cm) more snow than during a "normal" January! You can follow Grand Canyon National Park weather conditions here > <a href="https://go.nps.gov/06" rel="noreferrer nofollow">go.nps.gov/06</a> (7556) Travelers can call 928-638-7496 for recorded road closing and opening updates.
