Rückseite: OPVS SPERANDEI. Eine Pyramide mit kaum lesbarer Schrifttafel ENIG/MATA (Rätsel) unten. Rechts daneben ein aufrecht sitzender Luchs, auf dem Boden verstreut links liegende Waffen und eine Rüstung, oben eine Wiederholung dieser Gegenstände in den Wolken.

Kommentar: Guss, zweiseitig, oben gelocht. - Sperandio di Bartolommeo Savelli war der in Mantua geborene Sohn eines römischen Goldschmieds. - Francesco Gonzaga (1444-1483) wurde 1461 zum Kardinal ernannt. Die Medaille wird als ein nach dem Tode entstandenes Erinnerungsstück angesehen. Der Luchs ist ein Sinnbild für Wachsamkeit.
