DescriptionSt-Werburghs-Mt-Barker.jpg |
English: Saint Werburghs Chapel, Mount Barker, Western Australia. Built by George Edward Egerton-Warburton in 1873, utilising pug and clay from a nearby pit. The exquisite woodwork, probably in Albany she-oak (Casuarina spp.)and locally sourced jarrah (Euc. marginata). The chapel sits atop a small hill, surrounded by undulating partly forested farm land, and is accessed by a reasonably good unsurfaced road.
