Русский: Чудо святого Георгия о змие, с Параскевой пятницей и Николой Чудотворцем на полях. 17 век. Русский Север. Дерево, левкас, темпера. 29,3х24,6 см.
Иконографическая особенность - при наличии венца над головой Георгия отсутствует изображение ангела, несущего венец. Нимб Георгия не был изображен; иконописец лишь наметил его левый край контуром плаща святого. Георгий держит копье в левой руке, повод - в правой. |
