| Description |
English: St Andrew's Church - north transept - gravestone. The Visitor's Guide to St Andrew's Parish Church says that this gravestone, in the floor below 851125 (and partly obscured by a heating pipe) has a carved axe and three hunting horns; it is said to be the grave of a forester who accompanied King John to Corbridge when the king reportedly searched the church, fruitlessly, looking for treasure. |
