Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Andrews, St Andrewgate - geograph.org.uk - 675367.jpg |
English: St Andrews, St Andrewgate A modest little church with an interesting history. Built from a mix of medieval brick and magnesian limestone, most of what stands is probably 15th century. The church was redundant by the late 16th century, and in 1736 there was a stable at one end and a brothel at the other, whilst in the mid 19th century it was being used as a school. Now an evangelical church. |
