Summary[edit]

Description
English: St Cuthberts Isle From near the old lifeboat station on Lindisfarne - we always knew this as St Cuthberts Isle, though he was a hermit on Inner Farne for many years - it is also known as Hobthrush - this is where he was said to have crafted the legendary Cuthbert's Beads which are in fact the fossilized remains of tiny sea creatures of the Crinoid type. On this raw day there was snow on the Cheviot.
