English: St Mary the Virgin Church, Holystone St Mary's Church was probably once the chapel of Holystone Priory and was built in the early 12th century. In the medieval period the church was much larger; the present church was largely rebuilt in the mid 19th century and the present nave was the medieval church's chancel. Grade II Listed Building. |
