Description
English: Corner of S. Chestnut Street and 2nd Street in Kimball, Nebraska; seen from the southeast. The white building at left (southwest corner) is Fraternal Hall. Built in Classical Revival style in 1904, it is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is now operated as the Plains Historical Museum. On the northwest corner is the site formerly occupied by the Stone Building. Constructed in 1893, the limestone building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It was destroyed by fire on January 2, 2010.
