| Description | Das Maskottchen "Storchi" wartet vor der Bad Salzunger Tourist-Information auf Wander, die sich über die Storchenpopulation im Salzunger Werratalabschnitt und über die Störche im allgemeinen informieren möchten. Der Familienwanderweg führt an mehreren Stationen mit Informationstafeln auf kindgerechte Weise zu einem interessanten Thema hinaus in die Natur. Ziel ist der Berg Frankenstein, dort oben endet der Storchensteig, der sich entlang des Werraufers bis zum Stadtteil Kloster Allendorf hinzieht. Auf dem Berg kann man bei der Kunstruine Frankenstein den Abenteuerspielplatz erleben. Außerdem kann man in der Tourist-Information Bad Salzungen während der Brutzeit auf einem Monitor die Störche vom Bad Salzunger Bohrturm in ihrem Nest beobachten. |
