Deutsch: Am Strand (der Strandplattform) liegt häufig ein meistens nur einige Dezimeter hoher, uferparallel verlaufender langer Sand- oder Kiesrücken, der als Strandwall bezeichnet wird. An seiner landwärtigen Seite befindet sich oft streckenweise eine flache Strandrinne. Diese allgemeine Definition von Wikipedia passt sehr gut auf den Hauptstrand von Wangerooge: man erkennt, wie das Gelände vom Wasser her etwas ansteigt und dann nach links zu den Dünen hin wieder abfällt. Der Bereich der hölzernen Pfähle liegt deutlich unterhalb dem Standort der Photographin. Man erkennt in der Rinne links vorne auch feuchtes Wasser stehen. Das ist typisch für solche sogenannten Flachküsten. |
