English: Strart of Mill Lade, Lover's Retreat. The lade for the former mill, known as Arnold's Mill, started here. The input of the stream, also referred to as "The Carry" (hence the steep road known as "Carry Brae" behind), is at the falls where you can see the clump of ivy on the right corner of the stone wall. |
