Description
English: The figure shows the current flow and corresponding magnetic field for the common mode (left) and differential mode (right) in a current-compensated choke. The magnetic field of the common-mode current adds up so that the inductor becomes effective, while the magnetic field of the differential-mode current componsates so that there is almost no measurable impedance in this case.
Deutsch: Die Abbildung zeigt den Stromfluss und das entsprechende Magnetfeld für den Gleichtakt (links) und den Gegentakt (rechts) in einer stromkompensierten Drossel. Das Magnetfeld des Gleichtaktstroms addiert sich, so dass die Drossel wirksam wird, während sich das Magnetfeld des Gegentaktstroms aufhebt, so dass in diesem Fall fast keine messbare Impedanz vorhanden ist.
