Description
English: The synagogue of Bremerhaven in Germany. The building first served as a church for the American forces in Bremerhaven. After the US forces had left that town in the 1990ies, it became a synagogue inaugurated on Monday, 27 November 2000, when bringing in the Thorah scroll.
Deutsch: Die Synagoge von Bremerhaven. Das Gebäude diente zunächst nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg als Kirche für die in Bremerhaven stationierten Angehörigen der US-Streitkräfte. Nach deren Abzug in den Neunziger Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts wurde es eine Synagoge am Montag, 27. November 2000, als die Thorahrolle eingebracht wurde.
