Ehem. Kiss Gebäude (Kiss Haus) Bogenfenster, Relief und Zahnschnitt - Szent István Platz 3, Stadtviertel Lipótváros, V. Bezirk, Budapest
English:
Former Kiss Tenement House, arch windows, dentils, round reliefs. Named after the 1st owner notary József Kiss. Built in Eclectic style, in between 1873 and 1874, planned by Ödön Lechner and Gyula Pártos, Constructor was stonemason János Wagner. Facade putti heads carved by Mór Hölzer. Mosaic works made by Kristof Oboriko. Partly remodelled in 1927 and 1934. Twenty Jewish were hidden here under 1944/45 by Piroska Goldberger (1919-2016), the wife of Leo Goldberger (member of the Parliament and Textil Factory owner) - 3 Szent István Square, Lipótváros neighborhood, District V of Budapest.
