Español: Tagetes Erecta tambien nombrada comúnmente tagete, y conocida en la sociedad mexicana como cempasúchil, cempoalxóchitl, cempaxóchitl, cempoal (o zempoal), es una flor de muertos perteneciente a una especie de la familia Asteraceae, nativa de México, donde se encuentra en estado silvestre principalmente en los estados de Chiapas, Morelos, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, entre muchos otros. A su vez se encuentra en los países de América Central.
