| Description | P-51 Mustang "Big Beautiful Doll" down the taxiway at the 2007 EAA Airventure. You really get a feel for how hard it must be to taxi an aircraft like this when you see where the pilot sits versus the nose of the aircraft. There is no way the pilot can see directly in front of him. Pilots have to rely on the ground handlers to guide them or taxi in an "S" pattern to be sure they are clear in front of them. |
