| Description |
English: Taylor Street steps, Barnoldswick, Yorkshire These are the steps which climb up from Butts (behind the photographer) to give pedestrian access to Taylor Street. Butts Mill is on the left. This is by far the quickest pedestrian route between Taylor Street and the Town Centre, but there must be many a woman who has hard thoughts about these steps when returning home with heavy bags of shopping.
A few years ago, the original steps, which had become so worn as to be dangerous, were replaced by the present ones. |
