Description
English: A tangential thin section of the Telephragmoxylon comanchense holotype. "Fig. 58.- Tangential section. Again in this section appear the rays composed of swollen resinous

cells. Certain tracheids are traversed by fungal hyphae which may be seen piercing their walls."

Cretaceous (Comanchean), 127-99.6 +/- 0.9 mya, Trinity Group, near Weatherford, Texas
