Summary[edit]

Description
English: The 'Derasar' depicted here in part of the Jain temples at Shri Shatrunjaya Tirtha, Palitana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palitana_temples).

Beyond the platform on / courtyard in which the temple stands is a drop. The entire temple complex over 800 shrines decicated to Jain Tirthankaras.

The presence of 2 nuns at the entrance of the temple give it the true feeling of being a place considered as 'heaven on earth' by most Jains.
