English: edge detection run on the depth-of-field demo image set from wikipedia/wikimedia commons. black means strong edges, white means no edges, grey levels in between mean respective intermediate edge strength. as visible in the very centre of sharpness even the light paper shows edge structures and thus results in a grey stripe. |
