Summary[edit]
DescriptionThailener Spintria.png | A locket found in Thailen, Saarland, Germany. An expertise by the institute for ancient history of the Saarland University from 1978 identifies it as part of a roman lamp, yet very similar to a so-called spintria, dating back to the 3rd quarter of the 3rd century AD. An earlier expertise from the late sixties stated the locket was a spintria from the 2nd century AD. |
