| Description |
We headed over to the University of Pittsburgh area of the city to check that out (the neighborhood is called Oakland). Located in the middle of the University of Pittsburgh, the Cathedral of Learning is a 42-story Late Gothic Revival tower. It stands A 535 feet and is the tallest educational building in the Western hemisphere. Built from 1926 to 1931. Inside (and very dark) is a huge, 4-story high, vaulted, gothic-style hall. |
